Who We Are
Specialised Health is an exciting boutique company, uniquely positioned as an expert in the provision of Exercise Physiology services to the Life Insurance sector. Work conditioning services are our primary role but our services may extend to the delivery of workplace assessments, worksite reviews, devising RTW plans and participating in case conferences as a means to enhance and tailor our conditioning services and work towards the best possible outcomes for our clients. We have staff across 5 states and will continue to expand to capitalise on existing opportunities.
Whilst providing this unique service to the Life Insurance sector, Specialised Health also continues to have a strong footprint in the NSW CTP and WC schemes and maintains relationships with both Insurers and Rehabilitation Providers as a result of our focus on building function and demonstrating capacity.
Who We're After
Exercise Physiologists who have previously worked at Work Conditioning Providers and / or Occ Rehab Providers will excel in this role.
We're on the hunt for a Manager who can lead and continue to grow our team of 8 Exercise Physiologists providing work conditioning services throughout the Sydney Metro area. We are seeking expressions of interest for the newly created role and will consider the best employment options to secure the right applicant including Full Time or Permanent Part-time.
The Team Leader will work alongside the Director and Operations Manager and will be provided support to grow into the role as needed.
Our new Team Leader is expected to be autonomous, flexible, enthusiastic and able to operate remotely. Based from home or a remote office, you will be expected to be "on the road" often to deliver the various internal and external facing duties outlined below.
Experience as an Exercise Physiologist within an Occ Rehab Provider, as a treater at a Work Conditioning provider or as an IMA / Case Manager is essential along with extensive knowledge of the provision of allied health services within the compensable schemes.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Team Leader will include but will not be limited to:
- Leading, mentoring and coaching team members to ensure the provision of highest quality injury management services;
- Engaging in structured, regular file reviews of varying complexity and providing strategic and technical advice;
- Quality assurance processes such as ensuring adherence to SLAs, timeframes of service provision and quality checks of reports and communications
- Maximising consultant productivity through improvement of individual performance;
- Allocating referrals and managing / monitoring workloads.
- Tying into and building on the present culture of ongoing training, learning and development.
- Working with our EPs to develop and enhance their learning and expertise, and enabling them to promote their knowledge both internally to fellow EPs and externally to customers and partners.
