About the role:

Do you want to work within a great team culture and make a real difference? We have a number of new roles for motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our team based in the Northern Region based in our Singleton office with requirement to work in Speers Point (as required) on a full-time and part-time permanent basis. The part-time roles require working three days per week.

Your role will contribute to improving the health and welfare of workers' through the provision of occupational health assessment services and health counselling and advice to our customers. This includes conducting occupational health assessments, providing drug & alcohol screening and providing health counselling and advice on a range of occupational health issues.

Role responsibilities:

  • Conduct and record health screening assessments with organising follow up as required both in the office environment and onsite.
  • Provide education and advice on potential abnormal health issues and liaise with the relevant Medical Officers for the course of follow up.
  • Conduct onsite drug and alcohol screening (travel to and from site with a valid NSW driver's licence essential)
  • Administer vaccines at the CS Health office and onsite at the customer facilities.
  • Assist to develop and deliver education programs on a range of occupational health issues.
  • Provide clinical and knowledge support to management and other health professionals.
  • Role has requirement to work early mornings and late nights at customer locations throughout the Central Coast and Hunter regions.

To be successful you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably within a hospital environment
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Current Audiometry and Spirometry Certificate (desirable)
  • Current Drug and Alcohol certification (desirable)
  • Current Immunisation Certification, NSW (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (desirable)
  • Excellent clinical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • The ability to organise and prioritise tasks portraying excellent time management skills
  • Moderate computer skills
  • Commitment and demonstration of Accountability and contribution to a positive workplace culture
  • Constructive and collaborative approach to continuous improvement and team development
