Established in 2016, Jibber Jabber Allied Health is an Allied Health practice located in Lara, Geelong. 

Due to recent growth, Jibber Jabber Allied Health is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our business on a part time basis, with potential to increase to full time in the future.

As a result, the applicant must be:

  • Seeking part time work starting at 2 days per week, with the ability to increase to full time as the business expands
  • A bachelors or Post Graduate degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent
  • Eligibility for certified practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Developed organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in teams in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong client focus
  • Commitment to learning and furthering professional development
  • 1-2 years experience in pediatrics preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply
  • Have a fun loving, bubbly personality that suits working with children and people with disabilities
  • Competency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and other Windows based resources
  • Eligible for a working with childrens check
  • Have a drivers licence and a car for occasional travel as needed

Your duties will include:

  • Managing your case load
  • Ensuring you are meeting your clients on time
  • Providing quality service that ensures that the client enjoys being there, while working to resolve the clients needs
  • Preparing for sessions and producing resources as needed
  • Generating reports as needed for other health care professionals, NDIS or Medicare
  • Maintaining privacy and all company policies
