The Opportunities:
We are looking for experienced Registered Nurse to work in a casual position in the Prins Willem Alexander Village located in Birkdale.
- Registered Nurse - Registered and licensed under the Nursing Act 1992 to practice nursing.
- Plans nursing care based on assessment, priorities, deadlines, actions and outcomes.
- Selects nursing interventions with the highest probability of achieving expected outcomes.
- Establishes priorities for the implementation of the care.
- Act as an advocate while providing individualized nursing care that will meet the health, social and community needs of the resident.
- Demonstrates mandatory compliance with policies, procedures and standards within everyday practice.
- Maintainscompetence in manual handling techniques.
- Flexibly approach the resident's or the representative's choice when problem solving to plan care.
- Demonstrates an awareness of the legal implications of actions taken in nursing situations.
- Provides a good example in attitude and practice.
About you:
We are looking for a Nurse who is experienced working with elders, families and clients, or have a keen interest in Aged Care. Do you have demonstrated interest in culturally and linguistically diverse services, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent administration skills? Do you have the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate information in a timely manner?
