We are seeking experienced Theatre Scrub/Scout and Anaesthetics RNs who are looking for their next career move as well as the adventure of a permanent job opportunity at Wagga Wagga.  The position reports to the Nurse Unit Manager and offers career development and a supportive team environment.

The hospital has 220 beds and offers a range of services.  It is the largest hospital in the Riverina.  The theatre unit handles a diverse & broad range of routine and emergency surgery which include specialties such as orthopaedics, colorectal, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, upper gastrointestinal and urology.

Responsibilities:

Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be responsible for either scrub/scout or anaesthetics in a busy operating theatre environment working across various specialties as well as general surgery.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated current background, as either a Registered Nurse in a Scrub/Scout or Anaesthetics position
• Experience in scrub/scout across either general surgery or specialised areas.
• Crucial to your success will be your ability to be able to triage urgent cases and demonstrate excellent time management in a busy theatre environment
• Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• Exceptional communication skills
• Current Federal Police Check
• Current Drivers Licence
• Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification essential Minimum of 2 years paid nursing experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia
