My client is a large reputable hospital based in rural Victoria. They are looking for a G2 Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. The beautiful town is based alongside the Murray River, being a very spots conscious town there is always something happening.
About the Role:
The broader Allied Health team consists of 8 Physios, 3EP’s and an Allied Health assistant. Within Occupational Therapy you will work alongside 6 Occupational Therapists and an Occupational Therapy Manager. You will provide services to a variety of different areas including Acute Inpatients, Outpatients, Community Women’s Health, Residential Aged Care and Outreach Services, HARP and Community Rehab Centres.
Your role will include but not be limited to the following:
- Provision supervision of Occupational Therapy staff and students
- Complete Goal Directed Care Plans
- Facilitate group and individual therapy
- Complete MDT joint assessments
- Assist clients with complex needs to manage their conditions
About You:
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Full registration with AHPRA
- WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian Police Check
- Experience working in Hand Therapy, Rehabilitation, Acute Inpatients OR Paediatric
- Ideally some knowledge around working within a rural community
