FULL TIME

- Base Salary range $86000 – $108000 pa
Responsibilities:
- You will facilitate the smooth operation of the department with a can-do attitude and a strong customer service focus
- You will have the ability to build strong relationships with Staff offering expert guidance and mentoring with emphasis on safety, opportunity, education and standards
- You will need to coordinate care and services interdepartmentally between, DSU, Theatre, CSSD and Recovery
- You will facilitate all elective and emergency procedures afterhours
Essential Criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current full AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 5 years clinical perioperative experience
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of peri-operative services with sound knowledge of the ACORN Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Ability to ensure excellence in customer service
- Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to think critically and prioritise workloads
- Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience

The Hospital has 151 beds and is operated by Ramsay Health Care Australia's largest private hospital operator. It features state of the art equipment, facilities and patient services. Wollongong Private Hospital includes an intensive care unit, nine operating theatres, and a cardiac catheter laboratory. The Hospital has commenced building a state of the art standalone Day Surgery Unit.
