On behalf of our Client, a Ballarat based specialist medical practice, we are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join their friendly team. With a commitment to providing the utmost care and service to our valued patients, this is an opportunity for a people focussed individual to join a dedicated team committing to providing excellence in health care.

The Role will encompass but is not limited to:

• Meeting & greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Answering and directing phone calls and accurate message taking when required
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail
• Booking patient appointments
•  Letter writing and some dictation
• Being an administrative support staff to other staff

The ideal Candidate will possess:

• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
• High focus on providing excellence in patient service
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management
• A positive attitude and ability to work well with others
• Professional presentation and a friendly attitude to work 

Your background:

• Previous experience in a medical reception/administrative role highly regarded
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent organisational skills, with a high attention to detail
• High level communication skills
• A mature approach, along with a caring and empathetic nature
