The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Nurse Manager (Analytics and Reporting) to join Gold Coast Health(GCH) where the focus of our 9000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to over 550,000 people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will be responsible for
- Be accountable for promoting effective and cost-efficient management of hospital resources and associated patient flow resources and services within and available to GCHHS
- Demonstrate commitment to building the GCHHS vision of becoming a world-class organisation by participating in and contributing to the Magnet Recognition Program®
- Role model a people focused approach to evidence-based care, promoting and maintaining a culture reflective of the principles of Patient- centred care
- Integrate the strategic direction and priorities for quality improvement into a clinical service, with focus on the adherence to National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve the goals of the organisation and guide overall service development and planning through integration of key objectives from the strategic plan into service delivery
Requirements for the role
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A Bachelor of Nursing or Midwifery or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position
- A minimum of a Masters qualification within a relevant area is highly desirable
- It is a condition of employment in this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: as required by HR Policy B1 measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough) and hepatitis B

Salary information
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $107 804 - $117 037 per annum
- Up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
