12 MONTH MATERNITY LEAVE RELIEF CONTRACT

- Base Salary $113000+ pa
Responsibilities:
- You will facilitate the smooth operation of the department and operating sessions, coordinating all services directly relating to surgical intervention in order to provide optimal surgical outcomes for patients visiting the perioperative unit.
- You will have the ability to build strong relationships with Staff offering expert guidance and mentoring with emphasis on safety, opportunity, education and standards
- You will need to manage all aspects of your Nursing team, including rostering and appraisals
- You are required to develop good relationships with all stakeholders providing outstanding customer service.
Essential Criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current full AHPRA registration
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of perioperative services with sound knowledge of the ACORN Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to ensure excellence in customer service
- Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to think critically and prioritise workloads
- Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience
- Proven innovative practices in line with clinical experience
- Effective time management skills
- Commitment to Quality and Continuous Improvement Process to achieve excellence

Wollongong Private Hospital includes an intensive care unit, nine operating theatres, and a cardiac catheter laboratory. The Hospital has commenced building a state of the art standalone Day Surgery Unit.
