Western Diagnostic Pathology (WDP) provides diagnostic pathology services to more than two million patients throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory each year. We have 10 medical laboratories across the region, more than 200 collection sites, and a team of nearly 900 people who are dedicated to providing quality care to patients, and accurate and timely results to medical practitioners. We know that in order to deliver a superior service to patients and practitioners across western and central Australia, we need a passionate team of talented professionals who are committed to working with us to build strong relationships with medical practitioners by putting them, and the patients they represent, at the centre of everything we do.
We are currently seeking a full time Storeperson to join our busy warehousing team based in Myaree. This pivotal role is responsible for managing all incoming stock deliveries, including following the job through from picking the order to organising transport and shipping. Additional duties can include inspecting and maintaining items as per quality control techniques; unpacking, checking and receipting stock against delivery docket; assisting with regular stock take, cycle count procedures and location reports; assisting and liaising with other departments; and general store and housekeeping duties.
To be successful in this role your background will demonstrate:
- Current Drivers’
- Previous experience in a Warehouse environment
- Demonstrated good timekeeping and punctuality
- Highly skilled in customer service
- Proficient with MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Qualifications in Warehousing, Storage or Distribution (advantageous)
- Commitment to maintain, and adhere to, safety guidelines in the workplace
