Pharmacist – Aged Care
Chempro Chemists is one of the fastest growing pharmacy groups in Australia boasting over 80 stores in South East QLD and Northern NSW. As our business expands we have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Pharmacist to work 4 days a week with our dedicated and dynamic team for the Chempro Aged Care Division.
Located in Ashmore, but servicing Nursing Homes across the Gold Coast, Northern NSW, and South Brisbane, the ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day service of multiple nursing homes, with the help of our experienced team.
This would be an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to expand their skills and embark on new challenge. Having a positive disposition, a can do attitude, and an enthusiasm for providing outstanding service levels as well as sound medication knowledge will see the ideal candidate succeed in this role.
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:
- Accurate, timely and efficient dispensing of prescriptions
- Accurate and efficient checking of DAA packs and sachets prior to delivery
- Ability to maintain patient profiles in all programs
- Liaising with doctors, RNs and facility staff as required
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and harmonious team environment
- Problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Equivalent with an AHPRA registration
- Experience with FRED and MINFOS
- Aged Care experience is preferable but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Self-motivated with desire to achieve a vibrant workplace and deliver exemplary service and solutions to our clientele.
