About the Role
Work closely with a team of highly specialised pharmacists and technicians to deliver patient focused pharmacy services across the dispensary and manufacturing areas
Working in this fast paced environment, your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will help deliver pharmaceutical products and services efficiently to those that require them. Your previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy will enable you to operate within the dispensary and manufacturing pharmacy team to optimise the service.
Duties
- Dispense specialised medicines for RMH patients
- Supervise production of aseptic and products
- Assist team leaders to manage and coordinate the team to achieve patient focused KPIs
- Train and educate pharmacists, technicians, interns and students
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures
- Contribute to stock control and claiming for medicines
- Contribute to after hours and weekend services
Skills and Experience
- Registered as a pharmacist with AHPRA
- Experience in hospital or community pharmacy (grading dependent on experience)
- Ability to work in a team
- Highly developed interpersonal & organisation skills
- Sound written oral & written communication skills
