Your new role

As part of the Independent Living team at Merri Health, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver independent, Physiotherapy clinical services for clients with musculoskeletal and neurological disorders utilizing evidence based practice to guide clinical decision making.
  • Contribute to the development of sustainable community based service models that divert people from hospital into community health physiotherapy services.
  • Provide high quality education and information to patients about the management of their disorders, involving clients and carers in decision making and negotiating agreed plans and arranging appropriate medical and allied health and follow up where required.
  • Conduct clinical assessment and analysis, develop and deliver appropriate management plans in accordance with high quality, outcome focused models of care.

This is a full time role offered on an ongoing basis. You will be based in Coburg. In order to be considered for this position you must have the right to work in Australia.
