In order to do this, a newly created opportunities now exists for a graduate of Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy to join the either the Konekt Newcastle team as a Consultant Support Officer.


About the role:

• Transitioning from study into Occupational Rehabilitation by learning from the ground up
• Participating in our structured induction and graduate program: Ready, Set, Konekt!
• Engaging with fully qualified Rehabilitation Consultants and Physical Assessment team and accompanying them during their daily schedule
• Providing administrative support to our Consultants
• Learning the ins and out of billing, case management and KPIs; slowly taking on your own caseload and learning to become an independent Rehabilitation Consultant and Physical Assessor 
• The successful applicant must currently hold or agree to undertake a pre-employment national criminal check

About you:

•   You will have an open mind and a curiosity about Injury Management and returning injured workers to the workforce. You will also possess the following:
• AHPRA registration (fully registered or about to attain full registration)
• A relevant tertiary education in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a range of people
• A fun and vibrant attitude and positive mindset
