The Company
Our client is a leading private provider of modern retirement living and premium health care. With multiple locations in Australia, this experienced organization is known for its resident care focus and creating a sense of community. This facility is a secure site staffed by qualified nurses and personal carers 24 hours per day and has a professional health care team with an emphasis on mental health support. Each resident or couple have their own decorated room and there are a variety of engaging on and off-site activities including theatre, games, reading and relaxation rooms. In-house catering is fully prepared from market fresh ingredients by a specially trained chef and kitchen team. Residents are also able to enjoy lovely established secure monitored gardens.
The Opportunity
Your role will be working under the experienced Clinical Care Co-Ordinator to deliver the best care for your residents. You will liaise with other health professionals and families to monitor programs and oversee care plans, be part of day-to-day team supervision and team direction with responsibility for the smooth running of the residents’ care. Ongoing mental health support training will also be provided. You will also be using your ACFI knowledge and understanding.
You
- Current AHPRA registration with at least 5 years local Aged Care experience
- A positive “can do” attitude and desire to be part of the team.
- Knowledge in ACFI assessment and submission requirements
- A passion for nursing high care and memory assisted residents.
