We are currently seeking a qualified and suitably experienced Speech Pathologist to join our Brisbane North team on a part time basis (3 days p/w) for a 9-month maternity cover contract. New graduates are welcome to apply!

This high performing team currently provides services to the Strathpine region, south to the Brisbane River and as far north as Caboolture. Services include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Social Work, all of which can be provided in our service centre, home or community.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Design, implement and evaluate interventions for children and young adults with physical and other associated disabilities, developmental delay and / or autism.
  • Provide evidence based therapy to achieve customer goals within available resources.
  • Provide discipline specific assessments.
  • Achieving customer goals within the available resources.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders - customers, families, referrers and colleagues to address agreed outcomes.
  • Caseload management and activity reporting.

 

To join the team, you’ll need (selection criteria):

  • Mandatory recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Prior experience in disability management and/or paediatrics is preferred.  Montrose will support experienced therapists who want to make a transition to paediatric practice.
  • A current Australian drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for service provision.
