About the company
Our client is a leading Not for Profit organisation who holds a strong portfolio of Aged Care residences & community services throughout NSW & ACT.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Facility Manager of this medium Aged Care residence, you will work closely within the managerial team to ensure each resident receives high quality person centred care. You will hold responsibility for the overall clinical governance of the facility to include overseeing the submissions & optimisation of ACFI funding.
Utilising your leadership skills, you will motivate, develop & mentor your care team members, supporting the facility manager with the continued development & success of the facility & build strong working relationships with internal & external key stakeholders.
You will be a ‘hands on’ leader, who has the enthusiasm to lead by example, and happy to provide the hands-on care required to each resident, supporting your care team & ensuring education & development of each team member is promoted.
Duties
- Oversight of all clinical governance
- Evaluate & make clinical decisions
- Support & educate care team members
- Ensure quality & compliance indicators are met
- Upskill clinical team members with individualised training programmes
- Review clinical policies & implement improvements
Skills and Experience
- AHPRA Registered Nurse with Australian experience
- Excellent Aged Care clinical experience
- Accreditation & quality improvement experience
- ACFI knowledge & experience
- Experience within a leadership position
