As the Drug and Alcohol Clinical Nurse Specialist your role will include but not limited to the following:
- Assess & manage intoxication and withdrawal states
- Assess and manage patients requesting to commence on an Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) program or who are being maintained on an OST program whilst in custody
- Substance Use and Pregnancy (SUP) program
- Brief interventions including provision of harm minimisation strategies and related health education initiatives
- Release care planning 
- Plus more

Offer:
- NSW award rate plus annual allowance 
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
- Temporary accommodation if needed
- Commitment to career progression
- Sydney or west NSW location
- Permanent full time or 12 month contract

Criteria:
- AHPRA registration
- Minimum 3 years experience working in the Drug and Alcohol field
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage complex workloads within agreed timelines
- Excellent Written and Verbal communication Skills
- Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of education programs to both staff and patients
