About the Role:
An exciting opportunity now exists for a clinical pharmacist to join the team at our Geelong site. In this full time role you will deliver the highest level of clinical service to our hospital clients.
Your main responsibilities will include but would not be limited to:
- Coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stay and on discharge from hospital
- Providing clinical service to Geelong wards including medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation to assess for clinical efficacy and safety.
- Assisting with dispensary duties and providing excellent customer service to patient enquiries
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and clinical outcomes for clients and patients.
- Assisting client hospitals with managing their pharmaceutical budget
About You:

The person we are looking for will have the following:
- Valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a pharmacist
- A minimum of 1 year’s pharmacy experience with good clinical pharmacy skills and knowledge essential
- A sound working knowledge of the PBS
- Proven problem solving skills with the ability to think 'outside the box'
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Leadership potential with the capacity to train and lead our dispensary technician team
