Position Objective:
In liaison with other members of the health care team, be responsible for the provision of quality nursing care to residents within the framework of organisational policies and procedures.
Qualifications and experience required for PCA:
- Cert III in Aged Care (or similar)
- Previous Aged Care experience
- Basic First Aid Certificate
Qualifications and experience required for EEN:
- Registration with AHPRA of Victoria
- Previous Aged Care experience
- ACFI documentation experience (preferred but not essential)
- Endorsement of medication administration (preferred but not essential)
Responsibilities will include:
- Completing ongoing assessments of residents'
- Monitoring assessments and care plans to ensure plans reflect current needs
- Ensuring residents privacy, dignity and confidentiality is maintained
- Providing accurate and timely documentation in relation to resident care
- Communicating effectively with residents and staff
- Participating in training and development activities
- Functioning in accordance with legislation and common law affecting nursing practice

- Current Police check and drivers licence
