About the Role

A dynamic and autonomous role for an experienced Physiotherapist with support in further career progression and leadership opportunities. The position is a permanent full-time position, where you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provide services to the surrounding area and local community. You will gain experience in supporting a variety of people with neurological and physical disabilities and have the opportunity to gain valuable experience extend your clinical competence.

You will be required to undertake tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Assess and understand client needs and develop multidisciplinary and/or transdisciplinary service recommendations (as appropriate) to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective services within defined funding parameters.
  • Deliver high quality, best practice clinical services for client with a broad range of needs and complexities to achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Manage a diverse range of clients; adapting delivery solutions to ensure meaningful outcomes.
  • Manage and plan the delivery of services to achieve performance targets and quality client outcomes.
  • Manage client expectations in line with approved service agreements and available funding to ensure the achievement of realistic and meaningful client outcomes.
  • Identify and develop local referral pathways and networks (internal and external); collaborate and partner with services to deliver solutions that meet the needs of individual clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinicians across sites/regions; and within a multidisciplinary team.

Skills and Experience

  • A relevant University Degree
  • 1-2 years’ experience working with Disabilities
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Self-starter, great listener and confident communicator
  • The capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate
