Position Title: Clinical Psychologist, Program for early intervention and prevention of Disability (PEIPOD)

Employment Type: Max Term Part Time - Until 28/02/2019

Hours per week: 16

Salary: 92,565 - 113,518 AUD Annual (Full time equivalent)

Position Summary:

A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated clinical Psychologist with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive PEIPOD team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care.

Selection Criteria

  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
  • Recognised post-graduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology, fully psychologist registration with AHPRA and endorsement for Clinical Psychology.
  • Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary inpatient and community mental health services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment and evidence based psychological interventions for mental health disorders in young people.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting neuropsychological assessments and report writing for people with a mental illness.
  • Demonstrated understanding of early intervention principles and evidence based mental health practice in the context of emerging mental health problems in young people.
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to working with young people with complex needs, including homelessness, drug and alcohol use and forensic issues.
  • Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence.
