The Role

There now exists a rare opportunity to join this group in the role of Personal Assistant/Medical Secretary supporting their Chairman/Surgeon.  His day is naturally pressured with many appointments and commitments (clinical and non-clinical) that require the highest level of professional admin support from an experienced and dedicated PA.  


To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Prior/current experience in a senior Medical Secretary position within a surgical practice
  • Intermediate/advanced level of Genie software proficiency as well as sound audiotyping skills
  • Experience working one-on-one with a senior surgical specialist, managing all admin aspects of private medical practice as well has the smooth management of consulting sessions, theatre bookings and billings
  • The ability to work autonomously yet within a team environment, use sound decision making and prioritising skills 
  • Maintain relationships with patients and their families, hospital staff and other medical practitioners
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
