The Role

Our multi-disciplinary Medical Centres provide affordable and accessible triage services to our patients across Australia. To assist us in delivering this service, we are looking for experienced Registered Nurse to join our fully equipped Treatment Room at Eureka Medical & Dental Centre. To be suitable, you will confidently provide comprehensive healthcare to our patients including category 4 & 5 triage services and emergency care.  On a day-to-day basis, duties may include:
  • Triaging our patients and prioritising emergency situations.
  • Assisting Health Care Professionals with Treatment Room procedures including excision of lesions, plastering and assessments.
  • Wound dressings and removal of sutures.
  • Performing ECGs and other tests such as spirometry and audiograms.
  • Venepuncture.
  • Immunisations (EENs).
Successful candidates must have the capacity to work a variety of casual shifts including weekdays, weekends and evenings.

About You

You will be an experienced AHPRA Registered Registered Nurse with previous experience in a community setting. Suitable candidates will possess:
  • Capacity to work a variety of casual shifts including weekdays & weekends.
  • Well-developed assessment skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Neatly presented.
  • Police Clearance.
  • Evidence of vaccination/immunity history for Hepatitis B, MMR, dTpa, Varicella and vaccination/screening for TB.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia required.
