About Ward 44

Ward 44 is located at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton and is a 38bed unit with 2 Chemotherapy day chairs.

Our main clinical focus is on Haematology Oncology patients however we broaden to look after patients under the medical units of Dermatology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases and Rheumatology.

About you

You are an experienced Nurse wanting to specialise in Haematology Oncology and have an interest in the other specialities we offer.

Essential Skills

• Completion of the ADAC course/equivalent and/or willingness to undertake and complete ADAC within the first three months of employment

What you need

• Australian working rights
• Current AHPRA registration and relevant qualifications;
• Proven clinical experience in Haematology/Oncology
• Minimum 12 months post qualifications in an acute setting, ideally in the areas of our specialities
• Willingness to take on a portfolio(s) contributing to ward quality improvements and National Standards
