In 2019 Juniper will be opening two brand new Residential Care Facilities. In preparation, we are now encouraging applications from Residential Managers eager to join the Juniper team.

We are excited to be helping Western Australia meet the growing demand for quality residential care by opening two new 100-120 bed facilities in 2019, one located in Karrinyup and the other in Albany.  We welcome applications from candidates who are confident that they have the skills and experience to oversee the commissioning and staffing of a new facility, with support from the experienced Juniper team, and to successfully manage a large site when it becomes operational.

On Offer:

  • Attractive Salary in the region of $110-118k
  • 5 Weeks Annual Leave

  • Salary packaging of $15,900 p/a

The successful candidates will play an integral role in managing all aspects of the opening of a new facility, including: commissioning, establishing processes and procedures, recruiting staff, developing rosters in accordance with budgets, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. If successful, your ultimate goals will be to deliver enabling care and foster a culture in which staff and residents thrive.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

  • Setting up processes and procedures
  • Ordering of furniture and equipment
  • Recruitment of staff
  • Develop and manage staff rosters
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, building strong communication pathways
  • Ensuring high quality care and services are delivered and that client satisfaction is achieved
  • Leading and managing motivated and engaged employees
  • Planning, monitoring and controlling financial resources, ensuring care and services are carried out within budget
  • Managing physical assets on site, information and communication

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • A health or business related qualification (Desirable)
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Essential)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care
  • A good understanding of budget development, financial planning and monitoring
  • Excellent written, verbal, conceptual and analytical skills
  • Significant leadership and people management experience with the ability to develop and influence others in order to effect change
  • A solid and demonstrated understanding of what it means to enable frail, aged Australians to thrive in a residential environment.
