The Assistance Centre at International SOS:
The Assistance Centre at International SOS provides 24 hour international medical and travel assistance to our corporate members and travel insurance customers when they are travelling or living overseas. Our robust Assistance Centre is staffed with a network of medical, security, aviation and logistics specialists, and our range of services aims to help prepare our customers before departure, supports them whilst abroad, and provides assistance should they have a question or concern.
On a 7 day rotating roster you will be working one weekend shift each month. 12 hour shifts with no night shifts! Your roster is allocated 8 weeks in advance.
THE ROLE
- Providing a range of services from pre travel health advice through to emergency response
- To complete telephonic nursing consultations and monitoring patients throughout the world
- Assistance with the organisation of medical evacuations and transportation of patients
- Monitoring the medical aspects of patient evacuations and repatriations
- To provide the occupational health medical input on the Health Checks
YOU
- General AHPRA Registration as a Div.1 RN
- Passion for assisting others along with good customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in any of the following disciplines:
- General Nursing
- Emergency Medicine
- Intensive Care Nursing
- Paediatrics
- Tele-Medicine
- Remote Nursing
- International Nursing experience
