Strategic Commercial Specialist with proven experience comprising and winning NSW Health Tenders

Your new company
A global medical device company who are very well known and highly respected within the healthcare space. With exceptional culture, this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced and strategic business development manager to take over winning high value NSW health tenders.

The successful candidate will have proven experience developing tenders and contracts within the NSW health system. Everything from the strategy behind the tenders, writing the tenders, pitching to senior level exec clients, and winning the tenders. You will need to be a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and commercial acumen.

Your new role

  • Strategise NSW health tenders
  • Co-ordination and completion of tender submissions
  • Organise meetings with senior level hospital executives and lead the pitch on the tender submissions
  • Management of Contracts
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders, Customers & Tender boards
  • Quality System - adhere to company quality procedures
  • Ad hoc requests by Manager or key internal customers
  • Verification and processing of wholesaler credit claims and rebates

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a commercial business role in the medical industry.
  • A strategic, logical thinker with excellent problem solving skills
  • Proven experience with NSW health tenders
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
  • ERP System Experience preferred i.e. JDE, SAP, ORACLE
  • Tender preparation experience
