About the role:

In this position you will be responsible for delivering high quality community based healthcare to our patients and assisting our medical and reception teams.  We are looking for applicants that demonstrate exceptional abilities within a treatment room environment.  You will be part of our practice team which is dedicated to providing the best care and service to our patients.

The hours of this position are normal weekday working hours, with no after-hours or weekend shifts required.  A full-time / part-time position is available.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering a variety of services to our patients, including treatment room care (e.g. woundcare, immunisations, ECG, Spirometry, assisting in procedures), triage and phone advice.
• Assisting our medical providers.
• Performing a range of administrative duties within our treatment room.
• Helping your team run the day-to-day tasks of our practice.
• Assist with GP Care Plan preparation and management.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Have current APHRA Nursing Registration / Enrolment.
• Have effective communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with our patients and your team.
• Be reliable and be capable of providing quality patient-centred nursing care in a General Practice environment.
• Be enthusiastic about working in a team and be professional.
• Take initiative in performing daily duties and be able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
• Be comfortable with change and committed to improvement.
• Be confident in using computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and our Medical Software.

We strongly encourage applicants that have experience within a General Practice to apply.  Having experience in Zedmed is an advantage but not essential.
