About the role:
Reporting to the Facility Manager at Noosa Residential Care Facility, located in Tewantin QLD, we are currently seeking a Clinical Care Coordinator to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm on a Full Time basis.
This role will lead and support the Unit Nurses in maintaining clinical excellence in the provision of quality care within the facility.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a registered nurse
- Have extensive experience in aged care
- Be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for aged care
- Have proven leadership experience in an aged care environment which will be valued
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a high standard of care delivery and services to residents at all times
- Promoting a team approach at all times
- Supporting the Facility Manager to ensure that the facility is compliant at all times
- Assisting the Facility Manager to ensure the Facility is operating efficiently and within agreed budget
- Timely follow-up of resident clinical issues; hazards; incident reports; infection control issues
- Assisting in policy and procedure review, implementation and monitoring compliance with these requirements
- Managing Clinical Care in consultation with the Facility Manager with a multi-disciplinary approach
- Experience with ACFI and accreditation requirements
