A newly established Specialist Medical Centre located in Sydney’s South West requires an experienced Medical Receptionist to join their team on a part-time basis.
With the grand opening in August, you will be managing the bookings, enquiries and accounts related tasks for a range of Specialist Surgeons, Doctors and Allied Health Professionals.
About the role:
- Managing clinical records, typing medical letters and reports
- General administrative duties for the whole practice
- Managing medical appointments for Specialist Surgeons, Doctors and Allied Health Team
- Medical billing including receipting and accounts
- Greeting patients and managing enquiries
About you:
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Experience with medical billing including receipting and accounts
- Excellent front of house manner with the ability to multi-task
- Advanced computer skills and experience using medical software – Genie/Best Practice, Excel and experience using either MYOB, Xero or similar accounting program highly advantageous
This is a part-time opportunity, 3 days per week with the scope to increase to a full-time position in the future when the centre becomes more established.
Hourly rate is determined upon individual application based on the skills an experience.
