We are expanding our business nationally but at the heart of this growth remains the focus on what more we can do to ensure that patient and health care needs are met, in collaboration with the wider health care network.  Part of this growth is engaging an experienced, highly organised, AHPRA registered, patient-centric Pharmacist to be a Business Development Manager who will see through the process of change and transformation in our network of community pharmacies to make them the most effective in creating positive impact to the local communities we serve.

The Business Development Manager position is full time, based at our Head Office (Osborne Park) and reporting to the General Manager.  The BDM will at least have 5 years Pharmacist experience, including Professional Services and training.

The scope of responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring store performance based on agreed Key Performance and Behaviour indicators.
  • Working closely with Pharmacy Proprietors and Pharmacist Managers in implementing their Business Plans, as well as developing their staff.
  • Interface with Business Relationship Managers on matters relating to store performance.
  • Providing Pharmacist expertise to Business Relationship Managers in surveying current stores and potential licensees, including site specific roadmaps.
  • Assisting with the mentoring and coaching of 777 Pharmacists within the Group.
  • Researching, developing and delivering Professional Services training to staff.
  • Representing the Pharmacy 777 Group to external agencies and events, as required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Experience in managing a successful community pharmacy (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability in change management and business development
  • Effective communication, relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of self-awareness and self-management
  • Commitment to on-going personal and professional growth
  • Flexibility to travel and work on the occasional weekend
