Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner – Sunshine Coast – FT/PT
Required for a new Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Holistic Health Hub at Nambour, Sunshine Coast QLD Australia.

Role:
We are looking for full time or part time Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner to join our new Holistic Health Hub at Nambour. REFOCUS Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Holistic Health Hub aims to provide Medical Services including General Practice, Specialist Service, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Dietitian Service, Child Therapies and other health and allied health services, all under one roof. We will also be offering cultural traditional therapies.

Location:
The Holistic Health Hub is based in the beautiful Sunshine Coast which is a location that is family friendly, easy access to the most amazing beaches and the lifestyle is just relaxing.
Services could be provided in the Nambour health hub, our Gympie office or the Rosemount Wellbeing Hub in the outdoors amongst natural bush settings.
The health hub has three consultation rooms, and treatment rooms to accommodate a Practice Nurse, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner and administration support
· Bulk Billing
· $55,000 - $68,000 – depending qualifications and
experience
· Flexible hours to cater for work/lifestyle balance.
· Full time, part time hours available
· Open Mon, Thurs & Fri 8.30am to 5pm and Tues
& Wed 8.30am to 7pm
- No weekend work

Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to contribute to the delivery of comprehensive primary health care services through culturally appropriate clinical practices.
To undertake liaison, health promotion, prevention, early intervention, treatment and follow-up care health services.
Promote, communicate and facilitate increased engagement, health literacy and health education as part of the Gunyah of Wellness Health Hubs Primary Health Model of Care within a culturally sensitive environment.
The criteria:
- Certificate IV Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or higher and must hold current registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrate your experience to meet the Position
