We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ashmore team.
We are seeking a suitably qualified Registered Nurse and Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to work at our Ashmore Retreat Facility.
Ashmore Retreat is a 142 bed High/Low Care facility including 14 bed Secure Dementia Specific wing.
The primary purpose of the role of the Registered Nurse and Endorsed Enrolled Nurse is to provide leadership and direct supervision in clinical care, including medication administration and wound care management to our residents with the assistance of the Clinical Care Managers.
To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Possess empathy and understanding the needs of our elderly residents
- Have a current AHPRA Nurses Registration
- ACFI knowledge an advantage
- Demonstrate care management and coordination of quality resident care
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Have strong assessment and documentation skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Medication Management
You will also need to hold a current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current Police Clearance.
Experience and knowledge of ACFI within Aged Care would be held in high regard.
