About the business and the role

An exciting opportunity exists to join our new Medical Centre business at Cranbourne.

We are a young, vibrant company committed to developing our team and business into Industry leaders and we recognise the importance of acquiring skilled and motivated employees who share our passion.

We are seeking highly motivated Reception staff to join us and support us in providing the highest standards of customer service to our customers.

Our centre is open 7 days a week for extended hours.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The role will require you to:

  • Provide a high quality of support and assistance to our Health Care Professionals.
  • Provide a highly professional and welcoming Reception service to the patients and visitors to our Medical Centre.
  • Answer general enquiries and provide accurate information regarding our business and our services, always acting with honesty and integrity.
  • Answer all telephone calls promptly and deal with enquires appropriately.
  • Take accurate messages when required and ensure they are passed on to the correct person in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership of your workplace reporting any issues requiring maintenance and or repair to the Practice Manager, monitor the cleanliness of your work area and waiting areas.
  • Observe and adhere to all WHS policies, guidelines and procedures and participate in training as required.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with regards to patient information.
  • Other administrative tasks and projects as directed by your Practice Manager.

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a customer facing role.
  • Strong understanding of what Customer Service excellence means.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High standards of personal presentation.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient computer skills.
