Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse role - Annandale
We are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse on a part-time basis to assist in the delivery of high quality patient outcomes within our GP medical centre located in Annandale.
SmartClinics is the future of modern medical practice. The SmartClinics team are led by General Practitioners who are leaders within their field and have a special interest ranging from women's, men's and children's health through to corporate medical, chronic disease management and travel medicine.
The successful Nurse will be required to work 8am to 5pm Mondays and Fridays along with alternate Saturdays 8:30am to 12pm.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with GP management plans
- Assist with Healthcare Assessments
- Immunisations for Children/Adults
- Travel Vaccinations
- Wound Management
- Pre-Employment medicals including: Drug Testing, Audiology, Spirometry.
- Workplace injuries from local industrial areas.
- ECG.
- Assisting GP's with treatment room duties
- Planning and management of patient care and patient advocacy.
- Infection control management.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Current CPR (BSL) Certificate.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Chronic Disease Management
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer Skills – sound knowledge
