REGISTERED NURSE
We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse who can join our existing team. They will provide and coordinate resident care and supervise staff to ensure an effective and efficient functioning team. They will perform in accordance with legislation and practice within a professional and ethical framework. They are responsible for assessing and evaluating individual resident care and acting as a resource in relation to mental health.
Essential
- Willingness to embrace the Christian principles of Braemar Presbyterian Care.
- Registered Nurse with current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Experience in Aged care
- Knowledge of contemporary care practices with a focus on dementia issues.
- Sound written communication skills with an ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Proficient in Computer usage and in Clinical Care Systems such as iCare
- Proven communication skills with the ability to relate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to supervise and develop team members.
In addition the following criteria would be a real asset but are not essential:
- Knowledge and experience of ACFI, Accreditation requirements and the Aged Care Act.
- Post-graduate qualifications in dementia.
