About the Role:
Your main responsibilities will include but would not be limited to:
- Maintaining excellent levels of customer service
- Dispensing medications for hospital patients and outpatients
- Contributing to management of the PBS claim and marking off owing prescriptions
- Ensuring patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication
- Performing Clinical reviews of inpatient medication charts
- Participate in patient’s medication reconciliation on admission and discharge
About You:
The person we are looking for will have the following:
- Valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a pharmacist
- Well developed Australian pharmacy skills and knowledge essential
- A sound working knowledge of the PBS
- Good experience with Fred Dispense and Fred Office (preferred)
- Proven problem solving skills with the ability to think ‘outside the box’
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team
- Be able to work independently and be self-driven
- Superior time management skills
