What you'll be doing Provide surgical research administrative support to the Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) Division of Surgery. Employees must abide by the NSW Health Code of Conduct. Criminal record checks will be undertaken on successful applicants and applicants for positions designated as Category A will be required to obtain required vaccinations prior to commencing employment. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them. Demonstrated knowledge of/previous research experience in health and medical research within a health services environment, including knowledge of the NHMRC National Statement and the Good Clinical Practice principles. Demonstrated understanding of the legislation, codes and guidelines relevant to research ethics and governance, especially in the NSW Health setting. Relevant post-graduate qualifications and/or equivalent experience with a focus on bio-statistics, epidemiology and research methods. High level interpersonal, conflict resolution, oral and written communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to negotiate and build relationships with relevant stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment of competing priorities. High level computer skills, including Microsoft Office package, spreadsheets and databases. Need more information?
