Eating Disorders In-patient and Day-patient Program
Permanent Part-time (10 to 12 hours per week)
**commencing July/August**
The Northside Group Wentworthville Clinic is part of The Northside Group of Psychiatric hospitals owned and operated by the country's leading private hospital operator, Ramsay Health Care. It is a leading provider of Mental Health services in New South Wales specialising in the treatment of, Mood Disorders, Drug and Alcohol problems and Eating Disorders.
The Northside Group Wentworthville Clinic currently requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated Dietitian to join our Dietetic team providing cover for our 20 bed Eating Disorder Inpatient Program, and day-patient program. The clinic is staffed by specialist staff including nurses, dieticians, psychologists and psychiatrists providing refeeding and psychosocial recovery for patients in a group impatient setting.
The role of the dietician involves providing nutrition care, education, counselling and nutrition support to inpatients on a 1:1 level. A one hour education/general nutrition/eating disorder information group on the inpatient unit. They will also be expected to direct, guide and liaise with food service staff where appropriate.
Applicants must demonstrate a:
- A keen interest and enthusiasm in Eating Disorders
- Ability to work autonomously and as a multidisciplinary team
- Confident in facilitating groups
- Be an Accredited Practising Dietitian
- Minimum 3 years post graduate experience in Dietetics, specialising in Eating Disorders
- Ability to work with a client centred approach to care
