We are seeking a well presented, personable part time nurse to join our team in our modern practice.
Essential:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be reliable, efficient and ability to work independently and willing to learn
- Enjoys working with young families and children
- Knowledge of immunisation schedule
- Well developed triage skills, CPR certification
- Professional indemnity and APHRA registration
Desirable
- Computer skills
- Prior experience in clinic setting
- High standard of English
- Additional Chinese language preferred
Duties include ( not limited to):
- Support role for GPs
- Assisting in minor procedures, dressings , other ad hoc nursing duties
- Administering immunisations and updating AIR
- Maintaining cold chain and vaccine stock
- Autoclaving and managing treatment room supplies
- Triage, dealing with phone enquiries ( including bookings)
- Nursing administration duties eg. Recalls and reminders
- Health assessments and care plan as needed
