At McArthur we have a wide and ever-changing range of Locum positions available for our valued Social workers and Case managers. With a focus on child protection, Aged and Disability Case Management and Youth/Family Services, we are the leading Social Welfare recruiter in Australia.
Our roles are based throughout greater Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. Offering fulltime and part-time hours. Flexible opportunities for the right life / work balance.
We are currently seeking experienced Social Workers, with a minimum of 12-18 months experience in at least one of the following services:
- Child and Family Services
- Family Violence
- Homelessness
- AOD
Essentials skills to be considered for the above roles include, extensive case management experience working with clients who have multiple and complex needs, be able to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, sound knowledge of a variety of theoretical frameworks and strategies, experienced in group work, outreach, and importantly, capable to work within a team environment and autonomously. You will also possess strong interpersonal skills, with a high standard of verbal and written communication proficiency, including strong report writing skills.
What you need to be considered:
- Tertiary Qualification in Social Work, Psychology or other relevant Human Services area
- You must have at least 12 months experience working in the above sectors to be considered.
- Current Working with Children’s Card
- Willing to undertake or possess National Police Check
- Full driver’s Licence
- Competency in the use of computer software
