About the Role
Due to the growth of our business, we are now seeking to add a committed and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team in Hobart. This full time, permanent role provides a fantastic opportunity to be exposed to a vast variety of patient conditions and patient streams, and includes paediatric and adults clients.

With a strong NDIS and Aged-Care focus, this will be a challenging and rewarding role for the right person, with lots of scope for development and diverse application of your professional skills and experience.  Be part of a supportive and dedicated team, but at the same time develop and shape this role and be rewarded and recognised for your expertise, initiative and ambition!

This position is located in the Oceana Aquatic & Fitness centre which features Hobarts only 25 metre, 8 lane pool and hydrotherapy pool, along with a fully equipped expansive gym and functional training studio.

About You

• Passionate about providing a quality service and contributing to the overall wellbeing of clients, and achieving sustainable outcomes
• Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
• Patience and ability to effectively communicate with clients and build rapport
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven written and verbal communication skills and clear report writing skills
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
• Proven organisational and time management skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Must provide a Working With Children Check
• Current driver’s license and own vehicle

Experience is preferred, however, new graduates are welcome to apply but must demonstrate solid clinical experience, and remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
