About the company
My client is a major, global pharmaceutical company who specialise in prescription and OTC products. They have a huge portfolio of products as well as an exciting pipeline of compounds. They are committed to providing top of the line products to consumers.
About the opportunity
The Pharmacovigilance (PV) Country Head will manage all PV activities for all products within their portfolio. You will have 4 direct reports that you will be expected to lead, guide and coach. This is a permanent, office-based role and there is a above average salary on offer & excellent benefits including car allowance and super. You will report to the Medical Director.
Duties
- Line management of 4 direct reports
- Ensure maintenance of the company’s compliance
- Ensure PV audit & inspection readiness
- Provide PV training and education to ANZ
- Collection, review, handling and submission of adverse events
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in drug safety/pharmacovigilance
- Ideally line management although not essential
- Tertiary qualifications in science. PhD/MD/MBBS will be highly regarded
- Full Australian working rights
- Excellent organisational, presentation and communication skills
