Reporting to the Associate Director, Medical Affairs at CSL Behring this position will provide medical specialist knowledge to our commercial operations and other functions to ensure successful commercialisation of products

You will primarily be supporting our approved products in the haemophilia therapeutic area, including regular and extended half life products.

Please note that this is a 12 month fixed term role, 4 days a week. Flexibility is available.

Your responsibilities in this role will be to:

• Ensure actions comply with all relevant internal and external codes of responsibilities and compliance.
• Develop and maintain in-depth expertise for designated products, competitors and relevant disease and/or treatment guidelines.
• Develop and/or maintain good knowledge of the Medicines Australia (MA) Code of Conduct including completion of Module 1 Medicines Australia Continuing Education Program if applicable.
• Review and approve promotional and educational materials to ensure MA compliance whilst maintaining competitiveness of materials. Provide alternative strategies as appropriate. Prepare promotional challenges as required.
• Be a proactive and strategic member of designated brand/business teams, especially in the provision of quality and commercially relevant medical/clinical information.
• Drive publication planning for designated portfolio if applicable. Work closely with marketing and other relevant staff to develop marketing campaign strategies and supporting materials for designated products.
• Ongoing review and analysis of current literature with dissemination of key messages to brand/business team and other relevant departments.
• Develop key messages and FAQs for internal departments to address specific issues as required. Participate proactively in issues management process.
• Provide technical input to and write relevant sections of government and regulatory submissions and/or tenders.
• Attend relevant conferences and seminars to maintain currency of knowledge and to build relationships with key opinion leaders and colleagues

The suitable candidate will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as pharmacology, pharmacy, immunology or public health or epidemiology.
• At least 18 months of appropriate experience with demonstrated relevant competencies required to qualify for this role.)
• Strong technical background with a commercial perspective
• Ability to develop expertise in designated therapy areas quickly, and handle a complex portfolio of products.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet agreed metrics with customer focus
• Ability to show initiative and sound judgement
