About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Residential Care program, for a seasoned and accomplished Facility Manager to come on board to manage our 50 beds facility (high, low and dementia care) based in Deniliquin, NSW 2710.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, previous experience working in residential aged care and more importantly have a passion for leading a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of quality care.
You will be required:
- To manage, lead and develop care and facility staff to achieve the resident care strategy
- To ensure that the service meets quality standards and contractual agreements
- To be an accomplished and proven Registered Nurse, with strong leadership and clinical decision making skills.
- To manage all operational site requirements
- Effective coaching and training of all resident care staff
- Managing ACFI requirements to ensure effective, compliance, assessment and documentation to achieve excellent funding outcomes
- To promote the service within the industries' community and maintain key networks and partnerships
To be considered you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Active AHPRA registration with minimum 5 years experience in clinical/management role within an Aged Care environment, providing excellence in facility management, staff development and resident care.
- Proven experience in developing performance of Care employees, RN's and other leadership roles.
- Budget management experience
- Solid ACFI and Aged Care Accreditation Standards knowledge
Demonstrated clinical governance experience and strong operational leadership experience will be pivotal in this role.
