The Department of Cancer Experiences Research is a unique dedicated multi-disciplinary team of research professionals based at Parkville.
Our research programs include Allied Health, Behavioural Science, Cancer Nursing, Psychosocial Oncology, Research Design and Analysis, Survivorship, and Wellbeing. Our goal is to develop novel patient centred strategies and interventions to meet the care needs of patients diagnosed with cancer and their carers.
We are looking for a part-time (3 days per week) Research Officer to join our team in a fixed term (12 month) position to work within the Wellbeing Research Program.
This unique and highly sought after entry level position will suit recent undergraduates, including 4th year graduates, from relevant health sciences fields.
The successful candidate will assist with the execution of research and will work across a range of projects. However, the primary focus of this role will be to contribute to the timely output of publications and other written reports. The successful candidate will also conduct literature searches, assist with ethics submissions and amendments as required, and support all aspects of undertaking research within our Wellbeing Research Program.
