Clinical Nurse Educator Mental Health Services To provide for the coordination, delivery and evaluation of clinical nurse education (including programs) at the ward/unit level. Such education may include orientation and/or transitioning for new nursing staff, undergraduate and casual nurses as well as meeting the ongoing educational needs of existing nursing staff. The CNE will work in collaboration with the Principal Nurse Educator and Nurse Unit Manager and wider hospital team to develop and implement clinical education programs relevant to the specialties and basic nursing competencies. To apply, please go to https://wwccheck.ccyp.nsw.gov.au/Applicants/Application# Selection Criteria: Registered nurse with a current licence to practice from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and current NSW Driver's License. Holds a relevant clinical or education post registration qualification and/or extensive relevant clinical experience. Holds or working towards a Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment - TAE 40110. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles). Demonstrated clinical teaching & facilitation skills. Demonstrated expertise in the application of recovery orientated principles and the practice of trauma informed care. Computer literacy and understanding of hospital information systems.
