The Department
Ward 4 East (General Medicine) is a 32-bed unit that specialises in caring for a patient with a range of acute and chronic conditions. It is a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a diverse and complex patient group. Our passionate and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team work together to achieve excellence in quality patient care.
The Role
The role of the AIN is to provide support to the nursing team in the delivery of safe and quality patient centred care. The AIN is required to work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse at all times, within their level of education and assessed competencies and also under clearly defined role parameters. You will provide a safe patient environment within a supervised environment. As our Assistant in Nursing, you will assist patients in the recovery, hygiene and daily care.

- Commitment to professional development.
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Acute) or willingness to undertake additional units if required
